Call for signatories: Sustainable Use Regulation and the Nature Restoration Law

Dear colleagues,

You may have all seen that the EU’s Green Deal is currently being under attack, with particular focus on the Sustainable Use Regulation (SUR) and the Nature Restoration Law (NRL).

Much of the attack is based on misinformation. Accordingly, the scientific community is deeply concerned about the ongoing discussions around the EU’s Green Deal. A team, led by Guy Pe’er (UFZ) we have compiled a letter outlining the major routes of misinformation and contrasted it with scientific evidence.

Please join as a signatory to urge policy makers to continue the legislative procedure for the SUR and the NRL, and invite opponents of the Green Deal for a consultation with scientists.
